When setting up a business, we rarely think about the consequences of small choices. Registered office address? It is, after all, a formality. Many budding entrepreneurs simply enter their flat - simple, quick, free. But is this really a viable and safe solution?

Signal 1: Customers are starting to ask where you really are

"And where do you have an office?" - this question is asked sooner or later. Contractors want to know who they are working with, especially when quotas are rising. An address from the estate on a business card or website raises questions. Not always directly, but the doubts are there.

If you are just starting up and planning everything with details, this is the first alarm bell. Larger companies or offices expect stability. Living in a block of flats? Doesn't look serious. And a lack of confidence can derail a contract before the conversation even starts.
